Fertilizer Management System
Detailed project overview and case study

Overview
The Fertilizer Management System is a government-backed digital platform designed to streamline the distribution of fertilizer from the Ministry of Industry, through BCCI, to local dealers, and ultimately to farmers. Built to meet the Ministry of Agriculture's needs, the system ensures transparency, traceability, and efficiency in managing fertilizer supply chains. It enables real-time monitoring of stock levels, automates dealer allocations, and provides reporting tools to track the delivery process from procurement to end-user farmers.
Key Features
- Centralized fertilizer distribution management
- Dealer registration and allocation system
- Farmer beneficiary tracking
- Stock and inventory monitoring
- Automated reporting and analytics
- Role-based access control for ministries, dealers, and admins
- Real-time distribution status tracking
- Secure authentication and data management
Challenges & Solutions
The main challenge was to design a secure and scalable system capable of handling large volumes of data across multiple administrative layers while ensuring transparency and preventing misuse. We optimized database queries, implemented strong role-based access control, and designed an intuitive interface for both technical and non-technical users.
